Your Playground & Severe Weather Preparedness

When your GameTime playground is in the path of severe weather put your mind at ease with these basic tips from Struthers Recreation.

1. PREPARE YOUR SHADESWith the glide elbow option that is a part of many of our shades you can remove the fabric ahead of serious storms. Watch the video below or learn more here.

2. REPLACEMENT PART REQUESTSIf your playground does become damaged, contact our office to begin the replacement part process at 205-663-5058 or email our replacement parts specialist. Note: Be sure to include photos, address, and your contact information in the email.

3. REMEMBER TO CLEAN & INSPECT

After flooding, clean the playground with fresh water and disinfectant to remove bacteria and sewage.
Contact one of our Certified Playground Safety Inspectors (CPSI) to inspect your playground equipment if needed.
