Recently at the opening of the Kid's Kingdom Playground in Madison, Alabama these two showed us just how much fun it can be to play no matter the age difference! Our own Kight Jones and Stacy Perry designed this playground with inclusivity in mind which includes play for all ages and abilities. Great job to all on this project!

According to the Playground Professionals website, "Not only is playing together fun but when families play together everyone benefits. Multigenerational play provides significant physical, emotional, and social benefits. Research shows that children who play with adults demonstrate greater creativity and higher levels of language and problem-solving skills. Research also shows that adults who engage in play with children experience dramatic psychological and health benefits such as reduced stress, improved mood, greater cognitive skills and enhanced relationships." The playground experts at GameTime tell us, "By taking the time to plan a multigenerational playground and recreation area that appeals to people of all ages, you can create a space that attracts more visitors, encourages people to be more active and enhances the quality of life for everyone in your community."
